Ingredients
- 3 large oranges
- 225 G ground almonds
- 225 G white sugar
- 6 eggs
- 1 t baking powder
- Icing sugar for dusting optional

Instructions
- Simmer oranges for 2 hours. Remove and cool. Cut open and remove all pips. Pulp in an electric mixer
- Beat the eggs and add the ground almonds, sugar, baking powder and pureed oranges. Mix thoroughly
- Preheat oven to 190 C. Butter and flour a 9” spring form tin
- Pour mix into the prepared tin and bake for 60 mins. If still wet leave in the oven for a little longer.
- Cool in pan before turning out. It will sink
