Ingredients
- 500 G best lean beef mince
- 1 large onion finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves crushed
- 1 T medium curry powder
- 3 T mango chutney
- 50 G sultanas
- 350 mls semi skimmed milk
- 2 slices wholemeal bread crusts removed
- 3 large eggs

Instructions
- Brown the meat with the onions in a large frying pan
- Add garlic and curry powder and cook for 2-3 minutes more. Remove from heat and stir in chutney and sultanas.
- Soak bread in 200 mls of the milk and when soft stir it into the beef mixture
- Tip meat mixture into a 2-litre shallow baking dish, or individual pots, pressing it well down
- Mix remaining milk with the eggs and beat lightly, adjusting seasoning to taste.
- Pour custard over the beef and bake at 180 C for 30-40 minutes until mixture is piping hot and the top golden brown.
