Instructions
  1. Cream butter + sugar to pale. Add egg yolks and zest
  2. Add flour and baking powder
  3. Beat egg whites to stiff and fold in carefully with a metal spoon
  4. Prepare a 9” tin and spread the batter in it.
  5. Arrange plums skin side down on top of the batter
  6. Bake at 190 C for 40 mins or until cake tests ready
  7. Cool
