firm ripe plums
about 2” diameter

brown sugar
but honey or syrup would work too

vanilla extract
Instructions
Halve plums and remove pits. Arrange in one layer in a suitable baking dish
Sprinkle over the sugar and the vanilla extract
Add 3-4 tablespoons cold water
Bake in oven at 200 C until the plums are soft
Recipe Notes
Serve with cream, crème fraiche, custard or even yoghurt.
