  1. Hull, halve or quarter the strawberries. Cut remaining fruit to a similar size but leave raspberries and other small berries whole
  2. Toss gently with the sugar and juice (and alcohol if using) and leave at room temperature for 15 mins to allow the flavours to mingle
  3. Eat at once. It doesn’t keep
