INDIAN CABBAGE
Instructions
  1. Core the cabbage and cut into fine strands
  2. Heat a little oil in a wide pot and add cumin seeds and bay leaf
  3. As soon as the bay leaves colour add the cabbage and the defrosted peas and stir for about 30 seconds
  4. Add the cayenne and the turmeric and mix
  5. Cover, turning heat to low and cook for 5 minutes or until vegetables are just tender
  6. Add the chilli, salt and sugar
  7. Cover and cook for a further 2-3 mins
  8. Remove cover, sprinkle in garam masala
  9. Remove bay leaves before serving
