fresh green chilli finely chopped

Instructions
Core the cabbage and cut into fine strands
Heat a little oil in a wide pot and add cumin seeds and bay leaf
As soon as the bay leaves colour add the cabbage and the defrosted peas and stir for about 30 seconds
Add the cayenne and the turmeric and mix
Cover, turning heat to low and cook for 5 minutes or until vegetables are just tender
Add the chilli, salt and sugar
Cover and cook for a further 2-3 mins
Remove cover, sprinkle in garam masala
Remove bay leaves before serving
