Instructions
  1. Combine all the main ingredients in a processor and pulse to a coarse mix. Season to taste with salt and pepper
  2. Form into a long roll some 2 ½” in diameter and chill a little
  3. Cut the roll into 12 slices checking the shape for roundness. Dip into the beaten egg and then coat with matzo meal. Fry in a mixture of oil and butter for some 4 minutes on each side.
  4. Drain and serve
