small cucumbers

garlic lightly crushed

One bunch fresh dill
Instructions
Thoroughly clean the cucumbers
Place garlic, pepper and dill in the bottom of a large glass jar and pack tightly with the cucumbers
Combine salt + 1 L cold water and pour the brine over the cucumbers to cover, If needs be make more brine. Keep submerged
Cover with a cloth and place jar in a cool dark space
Check regularly and remove any mould or slime that may appear on the surface
They should be ready in 7-14 days but this is a matter of personal taste
When cucumbers are ready to eat either cover tightly or transfer to sterilised jars and refrigerate.
