Instructions
  1. Score cucumbers lengthwise with a fork and slice VERY thinly on a mandolin.
  2. Arrange in a shallow layer in a glass dish and sprinkle with 1 T salt
  3. Leave for some 2 hours and then drain off all the liquid, patting cucumbers dry with paper towels.
  4. Whisk together the vinegar, sugar, t salt and pepper. Check the seasoning
  5. Pour over cucumbers and strew with dill
  6. Chill for 2-3 hours and drain away liquid before serving,
