large cucumbers

white vinegar

caster sugar

chopped fresh dill
Instructions
Score cucumbers lengthwise with a fork and slice VERY thinly on a mandolin.
Arrange in a shallow layer in a glass dish and sprinkle with 1 T salt
Leave for some 2 hours and then drain off all the liquid, patting cucumbers dry with paper towels.
Whisk together the vinegar, sugar, t salt and pepper. Check the seasoning
Pour over cucumbers and strew with dill
Chill for 2-3 hours and drain away liquid before serving,
