- 185 G butter
- 185 G caster sugar
- 3 eggs beaten
- 185 G self-raising flour
- 1 pinch Salt
- ½ cup strong black coffee
- 2-3 t sugar
- 1 T rum

Instructions
- Cream butter and sugar to pale
- Gradually beat in the eggs and fold in flour and salt with a metal spoon
- Turn into a prepared ring (Bundt) tin and bake for 25 minutes at 190 C
- Cool cake and return it to its tin.
- Sweeten the coffee, add the rum and pour over cake. If not wet enough make more.
- Turn onto a serving dish and serve with whipped cream or whatever takes your fancy.
