Ingredients
- ½ oz butter
- 1 onion finely chopped fried in butter to translucent
- 1 large potato cooked and mashed
- 3 T fine breadcrumbs
- 1 lb lean beef mince
- 3 oz double cream
- 1 egg
- 1 oz butter
- neutral oil
- 1 T Flour
- ½ cup single or double cream

Instructions
- Combine onions, mashed potato, bread crumbs, meat, salt, egg and 1 T (optional) parsley. Blend thoroughly
- Shape into 1” balls, cover with film and chill for at least 1 hour before cooking.
- Melt 1 oz butter and 2 T oil in a large shallow pan and fry the meat balls in batches shaking the pan almost constantly so that the balls keep their shape and brown on all sides. This should take about 10 mins.
- Keep warm in an oven at about 100 degrees
